The 2015 March of Dimes Signature Chefs, a benefit for babies, an event to raise funds for the campaign to end prematurity. The event is a culinary showcase, featuring Amarillo’s top culinary masters. This rare opportunity is made possible by participating chefs graciously donating their time and talent to create a food experience beyond any available at a single location in Amarillo. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize the palette of even the savviest “foodie” and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively party atmosphere and exciting entertainment, guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing raffle and auction packages.

NINETEEN49 Catering: Slider Bar
Chef Rocky Dunnam and the team of NINETEEN49 Catering provided an elaborate Slider Bar for the event. The menu was diverse, detailed, and carefully constructed with suggested pairings of sliders, toppings, and sauces.
Here’s a glance at the Menu:
Bread: Sweet Hawaiian Roll & Yeast Dinner Roll
Center Roll: Shaved Brisket; Pulled Pork; Shredded Buffalo Chicken
Toppings: Mango Salsa; Sesame Slaw; Pickled Cucumber/Onion; Pico de Gallo
Sauces: Sweet & Spicy BBQ; Green Chile Aioli; Henderson Whiskey Mustard; Apricot Marmalade
I was suggesting two of my favorite slider combos all night; the Asian BBQ [yeast roll; pulled pork; sweet & spicy bbq; sesame slaw], and the “Rocky’s Favorite” [sweet hawaiian roll; shaved brisket; mango salsa]. But despite my persuasive skill, there where several that just tried everything! Each year we cherish the ability to give back to such a worthy cause. Our General Manager Matt Foxworthy always says that no matter how ‘busy’ we are, we will always find time to give back to this community.
