Hey hey hey…
Here’s a great, very versatile recipe for an incredible TERIYAKI SAUCE! I like to use this recipe on chicken, beef, shrimp, vegetables, rice, etc.
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 ea Garlic Clove minced
- 2 tsp Ginger Root minced
Add all ingredients to a small sauce pot.
Bring to boil.
Reduce by 1/2.
To make Glaze: (if you desire a thicker sauce for glazing)
Add a mixture of cornstarch (or flour) and COLD water (1:4 ratio of starch:water)
*Then add this “slurry” to your hot sauce until you reach a consistency you like!
