In today’s digital age, it’s all too easy to craft a sensational post. You might see something like: “I transformed my life in just a year! In 2020, I had $1 to my name, and now I’ve hit $4 million!” These narratives are everywhere, but they often misconstrue the essence of side projects. Engaging in online creation is fundamentally about self-care.
Section 1.1: The Human Element of Creation
As humans, we are inherently storytellers. Sharing our experiences and connecting with others is one of the most meaningful aspects of life. Creating content online allows for this freedom—no bosses, no rigid structures—just the thoughts in your mind yearning for expression. For me, writing serves as an essential form of therapy. Without the outlet of writing, my mental health would suffer, resulting in overwhelming thoughts.
