In simple terms, website flipping involves purchasing a website and selling it at a higher price than what you paid. You can either acquire an existing site and resell it for a profit or create a new site to sell. My teaching focuses on how to build and sell websites effectively.

Website flipping is a pursuit I am passionate about for several reasons:

• It’s straightforward and efficient (once you grasp the process).
• It can yield substantial profits.
• It offers flexibility in how you work.
• It’s ideal for solo entrepreneurs.
• Introverts can thrive in this environment.
• You can start with minimal investment.

Once you understand the mechanics, flipping websites becomes a quick and easy endeavor, requiring no advanced tech skills or coding knowledge.

For instance, the last website I sold returned over 250% of my initial investment within just two weeks! This project can be approached either full-time or part-time, entirely on your own, making it perfect for those who prefer to work independently without the need for meetings or calls.

Moreover, you can start with a very low budget. The last microsite I developed cost me less than $50 to launch.

Should You Focus on Small or Large Sites?

The truth is, you can find success with both small and large sites. I have experience selling sites ranging from nearly $100,000 to those that sold for only a few hundred dollars. Although I enjoy working with both, I tend to concentrate on smaller starter sites due to their quicker turnaround time.

How Long Does It Take to Flip a Website?

The last microsite I flipped took less than a day to create and sold just nine days later. I've had experiences where websites sold within the first 24 hours of being listed. However, some listings may take longer. You have the flexibility to decide when to put your website up for sale. Whether you choose to sell immediately after building it or after investing additional time in growth, both options are viable.

Absolutely! There is a growing interest in digital real estate, such as websites, due to its potential for excellent returns on investment.
