Exploring Intentional Action: A Journey Towards Community and Growth

Understanding Intentional Action
In recent weeks, I have delved deeply into the concept of Intentional Action and its implications in my life. Initially, I found it challenging to grasp, but the words of civil rights pioneer, Yuri Kochiyama, have provided clarity. She stated, “Our ultimate objective in learning about anything is to try to create and develop a more just society.” This perspective has prompted me to contemplate how Intentional Action applies to the various injustices we witness in our world.
For me, Intentional Action transcends mere actions or concepts; it embodies a mindset. It manifests in living authentically and is fueled by personal values, a strong sense of community, and a deliberate approach to our words and deeds. Throughout my journey as an artist, educator, nonprofit leader, and brand developer, I have always embraced a proactive outlook. Now, I recognize the need to evolve this into a mindset centered around Intentional Action.
Through this reflection, I aim to offer a glimpse into my own practices surrounding Intentional Action, hoping to inspire, affirm, or even challenge your own habits in life and work.
